Studies have proven that owning a pet is good for senior citizens. Having
a pet to care for lowers blood pressure and improves mental and
emotional well-being. The mission of Seniors for Pets is
as broad as it needs to be to assist a needy senior to retain his
best friend pet. A healthy pet is a happy pet and is less
likely to be surrendered to a shelter. To maintain that help,
annual vaccinations, proper diet and exercise are needed. Of
course, diseases need to be addressed promptly.
